The 3500/62 process variable monitor is a 6-channel monitor used for monitoring key parameters of machining machines, such as pressure, flow rate, temperature, and liquid level, continuously. The monitor accepts+4 to+20 mA current input or any proportional voltage input between 10 Vdc and+10 Vdc. It regulates these signals and compares the conditional signals with user programmable alarm settings.
3500/62 monitor:
1) Continuously compare monitoring parameters with configured alarm settings to drive alarm mechanical protection.
2) Provide necessary machine information for operation and maintenance personnel.
You can use the 3500 rack configuration software to program the 3500/62 to perform current or voltage measurements. The 3500/62 provides I/O modules for three signal input scenarios:+/-10V DC, isolated 4-20mA or 420mA with intrinsic safety rectification barriers. Internal barrier/O provides external access
The power input terminal provides an inherently safe power supply for the 4-20mA transducer.
When used in triple modular redundancy (TMR) configurations, process variable monitors must be installed in groups of three adjacent to each other. When used in this configuration, the monitor adopts two types of voting to ensure accurate operation and avoid losing mechanical protection due to a single point of failure.
