ICS Triplex  T8480   AO module Trusted MTMR, 40 triple points, 4-20mA

TRUSTED triple fault-tolerant analog output module can connect 40 on-site input points. 40 output channels are divided into 5 groups, each with 8 outputs. Fault tolerance is achieved by tripling each of the 40 channels.
Each triplet channel inside the module receives data from the TRUSTED triplet processor and sends it to the voting chip inside the module. The voted signal is then output through a triple channel. Triple channels are compared with each other, and in the event of an output failure, the module still provides fault-tolerant, continuous output control. The faulty part can be diagnosed. This output and fault diagnosis method complies with the safety requirements of IEC61508SIL-3 level, which means fault tolerance for one fault and parking for two faults.
The TRUSTED output module has built-in SOE recording function with a resolution of 1ms. SOE will record the actual current value of the on-site circuit. The overcurrent protection circuit inside the module replaces traditional fuses and can be reset through software after protection occurs (equivalent to a blown fuse).
The FTA module board cannot be directly connected to hazardous areas and should be used in conjunction with safety barriers.
This input module can be placed in any controller rack or expansion rack in the TRUSTED system. Once the configuration is complete and the position of each module is determined, the pins on the module can be set to prevent inserting the module into the wrong slot.

The communication between TRUSTED system and external systems can be achieved through the main processor, dedicated communication module, or gateway module. Multiple communication protocols can be used for serial communication and Ethernet communication. The communication module can be installed in the control rack and expansion rack.
