ICS Triplex  T8403   40 channel 24V DC DI module

The 24VDC DI module input on site is shown in Figure 6-1 and is triple layered. The on-site input voltage is measured and compared with the threshold voltage configured by the user to determine the reported on-site input status. When a line monitoring device is installed on the on-site switch, the module can detect open and short circuits of the on-site cables. The line monitoring function requires independent configuration for each input channel.
The module provides a sequential event recording report on the board with a time resolution of 1ms. The channel status is determined by the configured voltage threshold values based on each channel.

There are 40 LED indicator lights on the front panel of the module, each corresponding to the input status of a channel. The LED mode of the input status depends on the voltage level of the on-site I/O signal. Each on-site input voltage is measured and compared with 6 threshold voltages (4 configurable, 2 fixed). Six voltage threshold values generate seven limit bands. Each limit band can be defined with a special LED display mode: off, green, red, green flashing, red flashing.
The configurable voltage threshold and LED mode allow users to customize input measurements and status indications to meet different application requirements. If there is no special customization, the default DI module LED indicator mode without line monitoring

The communication between TRUSTED system and external systems can be achieved through the main processor, dedicated communication module, or gateway module. Multiple communication protocols can be used for serial communication and Ethernet communication. The communication module can be installed in the control rack and expansion rack.
