brief introduction

The ibaLink-SM-128V-i-2O VMEbus interface card is a multi-purpose bidirectional interface card designed to be compatible with VMEbus PLC and computer systems.
It can be used for both data acquisition and process monitoring, as well as for control system applications such as ibaLogic SoftPLC.
In the following text, the circuit board will be named SM128V to simplify the description.

The main functions of SM128V include:
1 bidirectional fiber optic link, each link has 64A+64D input/output (channel 1)
1 unidirectional fiber optic link, each link has 64A+64D output (channel 2)
Synchronize the transmission of information from all channels at a rate of 1ms on two links
Address switch, used to connect up to 8 SM128V interface cards on the link
The following non privileged modes of VME access can be achieved:
A24 and A32 adopt the following VMEbus data format
D08 (E0)
D16
D32
A40 MD32 (according to special requirements)
BLT and MBLT modes, as well as automatic configuration and geolocation functions, are currently being prepared but not available.
The 2eVME mode has not yet been implemented. Access is only allowed in non privileged data access mode.
SM128V is a passive board on the VME bus, meaning it does not actively access or interact on the VME bus.
The circuit board uses a 256 kilobytes address space on the VME bus.
