FOXBORO  FBM227   Controller processing module

The FBM227 module provides signal conversion functionality for connecting analog and digital electronic input/output signals from on-site sensors/actuators. It has four 0 to 10 V DC analog input channels and two 0 to 10 V DC analog output channels, all of which are individually isolated. For digital I/O signals (on/off state), it has four digital input channels, two channels per group, four digital output channels, isolated in pairs.
The main features of FBM227 module are as follows:
1. Four 0-10V analog input channels for DC voltage measurement or sliding line (position) sensing
2. Two 0-10V analog output channels for driving locators, controllers, or remote indicators
3. Four 130 V DC digital input channels, used for contact sensing or DC voltage monitoring. Four digital output channels, used for switching 60 V DC output with external power sources (such as controlling the power supply of various external loads), or for switching three wire DC output with internal 11 V DC power sources (such as supplying power to external solid-state relays or other similar devices). Supports DPIDA and MDACT control modules
4. Each pair of analog input or output channels is isolated separately from other channels and ground (ground wire). Its digital channel is isolated in pairs from all other channels and ground (earth wire)
5. Designed to be sturdy and suitable for G3 level (harsh) environments.
