FOXBORO  FBM240   Redundant module

The Foxboro Compact FBM240 module is an 8-channel input and 8-channel output fieldbus module suitable for Foxboro DCS systems. It can be used as a single module or as a redundant module, providing redundant functionality.

Main characteristics
1. Eight discrete outputs and eight discrete voltage monitoring inputs, capable of reading the voltage on relay contacts. If the contact state is inconsistent with the corresponding output channel state, set the channel to "BAD".
2. Redundant operation fault detection, high coverage of output contact monitor readback and internal FBM fault detection allows redundant partners to automatically continue driving discrete outputs and monitoring inputs.
3. Fault safety mechanism, including digital output fault safety fallback data and fieldbus fault safety delay time setting.

4. External power connection points and 5A or 10A non sealed relays, suitable for various industrial automation applications.
