FOXBORO  FBM204 Input/Output (I/O) Module

FBM204 0 to 20 mA input/output includes four 20 mA DC analog input channels and four 20 mA DC analog output channels. Each input channel accepts analog sensor inputs, such as 4 to 20 mA transmitters or self powered 20 mA signal sources. Each output channel drives an external load and generates 0 to 20 mA output. Input/output is electrically isolated from other channels and ground wires.

FBM204 performs signal conversion by connecting the electrical input/output signals of the field sensors to an optional redundant fieldbus. FBM204 executes simulated I/O applications, which provide the following configurable options: transition time, fail safe configuration (hold/fallback), and simulated output fail safe fallback data (by channel). The fieldbus module (FBM) can execute distributed PIDA (DPIDA) applications to provide fast control loops running within it
